My Wold 1

My First Pet Today I will explain the first time I had a pet. It was my birthday when my father gave me a rabbit. I named him Carrot. He was very naughty, always ran and hid. One day he was very bad, that same week he had had several anxiety attacks because of some cats that always chased him to eat him.   But one day they detected a celebral tumor.  There was no other solution, so we decided to do our best to keep from suffering. The same doctor told us that he only had 6 months to live, so we decided to sleep him forever and burn him and then throw him into the sea. It's been 7 years since I passed, and I still feel sad.

We know that ailments such as depression, anxiety and high blood pressure can arise from chronically stressful conditions at work and home. We see how policies that deny opportunity, fairness and justice can be reflected in patients’ faces as well as in their DNA. And, just as important, we understand how to translate this knowledge into action. The upstreamist considers it her professional duty not only to prescribe a chemical remedy but also to tackle sickness at its source. There aren’t nearly enough of these pioneers working in health care today, but our ranks are slowly growing. Want more information about the everyday facts that contribute to patient health? Watch my TED Talk (What makes us get sick? Look upstream). Interested in improving your own upstreamist health care? Below, six ...
